Living Upon the Vision of Our Founders

When Sarah Ida Shaw founded Delta Delta Delta she envisioned a women’s Fraternity that would encourage the ideals of truth, self-sacrifice and friendship.  The purpose and motto that Tri Delta lives by today was created to help uphold these goals for the present and future generations of our members.

v establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members

v develop a stronger and more womanly character

v broaden the moral and intellectual life and to assist its members in every way possible

It is the responsibility of Tri Delta to …

v promote and develop mutually beneficial relationships between the Fraternity and the colleges and universities where the Fraternity has established chapters

v develop qualities of unselfish leadership among its members

v encourage them to assume, with integrity and devotion to moral and democratic principals, the highest responsibilities of college women
